PayU Finance India Private Limited ("PayU Finance") is PayU group company that is engaged, amongst others, in the business of lending and providing financial services. PayU Finance is a systemically important non-banking finance company. PayU Finance operates a mobile application, namely LazyPay, and offers its credit products through the LazyPay mobile application. Lazy Private Limited ("LPL") which is a separate company has also been authorized by PayU Finance to offer some of its products and services on the LazyPay mobile application under a license granted by PayU Finance.

LPL  is  also  a  PayU  group  company  engaged,  amongst  others  in  the  business  of  providing technology enabled settlement services, settlement processing services, certain collection services to different kinds of business entities together with other services such as marketing/ distribution of co-branded cards. LPL also acts as a lending service provider for different types of financial institutions including PayU Finance. LPL has also been authorized by PayU Finance to offer some of its products and services on the LazyPay mobile application under a license granted by PayU Finance.

LazyPay mobile application available on play stores such as google play store and apple play store, and is a technology platform used amongst others by: (i) merchants of LPL for offering deferred payment options to their end customers, for which LPL provides certain collection and settlement services to such merchants, (ii) LPL for marketing and distribution of co-branded cards, (iii) end customers of merchants of LPL for viewing their transactions on the dashboard available LazyPay. The dashboard gives the convenience to such end customers to: (a) view their transaction history and status deferred payment options availed by them, (b) view their transaction history and status relating to usage of co-branded cards that are marketed and distributed by LPL and (iv) avail credit products  of  PayU  Finance  and  view  their  transaction  history  and  status  relating  to  such  credit products.

CKYC, that is, the Central KYC Registry, is a centralized repository of KYC records of customers in the financial sector with uniform KYC norms and inter-usability of the KYC records across the sector with an objective to reduce the burden of producing KYC documents and getting those verified every time when the customer creates a new relationship with a financial entity. In terms of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 ("PML") and rules framed thereunder each reporting entity (as defined therein) is required to conduct a know your customer ("KYC") exercise and also obtain where applicable an officially valid document(s) of its customers.

For services such as credit products offered by PayU Finance you will be required to first complete your  KYC  journey  and  accept  the  terms  and  conditions  relating  to  such  credit  products  by undertaking the KYC and onboarding journey that is available on the LazyPay mobile application. In case you do not complete the KYC journey, the choice of products that you can avail on the LazyPay application is limited and you may only avail anydeferred payment options as may be offered by the merchant(s) of LPL.

By  completing  your  KYC,  you  may  be  able  to  access  a  wider  variety  of  products  and  services available on the LazyPay mobile application, provided you are meeting the eligibility norms.

All personal information collected from the user is accorded high level of privacy protection in accordance with applicable laws. Where you consent to share such information with PayU Finance and/or partner  financial institutions of LPL or PayU Finance, or their respective service providers, such entities are required to be maintain similar privacy protection.

Communication  address  refers  to  the  address  where  you  wish  to  receive  communications  from PayU  Finance  and/or  LPL.  For  example,  if  you  are  not  available  at  your  residence  or  current address  during  the  day,  you  can  request  your  office  or  work  address  to  be  the  communication address.

A Credit Bureau Pull is a request sent to a credit information company such as TransUnion CIBIL for accessing your credit history so that an accurate credit assessment can be made and the best possible credit eligibility limit can be provided to you.

Current or Permanent address is the address verified from your Official Valid Documents (OVDs) submitted as the KYC document such as proof of possession of Aadhaar, driver’s license, passport, etc.

No, you may only use your own PAN number that corresponds to your details.

Sometimes, we are unable to perform your KYC by fetching your existing KYC documents stored with the CKYC. In such cases, an Aadhaar XML verification allows us to perform your KYC with minimal hassles (which is still a super quick process!).

Sometimes, it may happen that UIDAI fails to generate a captcha for your verification. If you face such issues, please retry the KYC process after some time.

This may happen if your mobile number is not yet linked to your Aadhaar number or your network reception is poor. Additionally, UIDAI may sometimes take time to generate and send you the OTP. There may be times when our systems may not be able to fully verify you, perhaps due to minute differences  between  details  provided  and  the  ones  we  receive  from  CKYC  or  through  Aadhaar XML. In such cases, we require a human touch from our operations team to verify it is really you in order to welcome you into the LazyPay world!

Usually, the KYC is approved instantly by our systems after submission. In cases where your KYC requires a manual verification from our operations team, it takes about 3-4 working days for us to perform your KYC.
