From the moment it is initiated, our banking partners take 4-5 working days to process the refund. This means that if a refund is initiated by the seller, it will take about 5 working days before it reflects in your LazyPay account. This applies to failed payments as well. If you have used your card and the payment fails, the money will be refunded, and it will show up on your LazyPay account in 4 to 5 working days.

Payment failures can happen both online, and at the shop. If your payment fails online, in most cases, the money will be refunded back to you automatically. It will reflect in your LazyPay account in 4-5 working days. In case it doesn’t, you can reach out to the merchant, and they will manually initiate the refund. If your payment fails at the shop, the first thing you’ll notice is that the seller won't see a success message on their card machine. You will also see that the slip printed by the card machine says that the payment was rejected. In such cases, you may get a message from LazyPay saying you have been charged. But the transaction will be automatically reversed. The refund will reflect in your LazyPay account in 4-5 working days.

Your LazyCard is accepted everywhere in India where cards are accepted - online and all shops. If your payment is failing repeatedly, it could be one of three reasons: 1. Your LazyPay credit limit isn’t accessible. This could be because you may have a pending bill, or you’re trying to transact for an amount higher than your credit limit. 2. Your LazyCard is temporarily blocked, or certain kinds of transactions are disabled. You can check if online and offline transactions are enabled in the Manage Card section of the LazyPay app. 3. If you’re at the shop, it could be that your physical LazyCard isn’t enabled. Activating your card(Setting the PIN), and checking its current status, can be done via the LazyPay app.

Your LazyCard cannot be used online without an OTP or a PIN. Two-factor authentication is taken on every transaction, as per regulatory norms. At the shop, you can choose to Tap and Pay. In such cases, you can use the card to Tap and Pay for upto Rs. 5000 per transaction.

Your LazyCard is not a debit card. However, it is not a credit card either. It is a brand new way to access your LazyPay credit limit using a card. So chances are that when you enter your details online, it will be identified as a debit card by some merchants. For similar reasons, you won’t be able to use credit card payment apps (like Cred, Paytm etc.) to pay your LazyPay bills.

When a seller initiates a refund, the seller chooses the amount. The entire amount is then refunded back to you. Neither LazyPay, nor our banking partners, charge anything for it. So in case you’ve not got the full amount, the seller has withheld a part of the payment. You can contact the seller and ask them to clarify. In case you already have, or if you have proof that the seller quoted a different refund amount, you can raise a dispute with us. You will need to attach proof showing the exact refund amount quoted by the seller.

You can enable or disable Tap & Pay from the Manage Card section on the LazyPay app. As per regulations, you can only use Tap & Pay for upto Rs. 5000 per transaction.
